Reebok i-run Treadmill

Getting a new treadmill is no easy task. You would be spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars and you’d want to get a product that would work for you and would be worth every cent you spend on it. If your needs aren’t that sophisticated but the space taken up by the treadmill is an important factor, you might want to check out the i-run treadmill from Reebok.

The i-run treadmill is part of Reebok’s product line of foldable treadmills. When unfolded, it measures in at 161 x 80 x 131cm. The innovative design of the i-run allows you to fold it to 47cm deep, bringing the dimension down to 47 x 80 x 159cm. This dimension allows it to fit in almost any closet or even under the bed. Moving the treadmill is a breeze, thanks to the transport wheels on the machine. If you want to use it, a single press of a button is all it takes to release the frame. When you purchase an i-run, it would arrive in your home already built inside the box. There is no assembly required. All you have to do is get it out, plug it in, and you are good to go.

Deviating from the norm, the Reebok i-run comes in 5 different trendy colors – pink, white, black, blue, and orange. You also get a basic console that has a large, easy to read LCD display. This LCD display shows the report of any finished run – the total time for the whole run, the distance that you have covered, and the total amount calories you have burned. To check your heart rate, the i-run comes with the requisite hand pulse sensors. One of the biggest downsides of the i-run is the running deck. It measures only 40 x 125 cm – one of the smallest in the market. Also, if you weigh more than a 100 kg, this machine is not for you.

The i-run comes with a max speed of 8.7 mph or 14 km/h. While this speed may be enough for the casual runners and joggers, serious runners or athletes might find it too slow. To increase the resistance and burn more when running, you can adjust the incline level. While some available treadmills offer around six to ten incline levels, the i-run has only two. You also get five different pre-set programs. However, if you want to skip the tedious parts and just want to run, it offers an easy quick start option to get you started immediately. Over all, while it does come with a few flaws, the Reebok i-run is still a good option when looking for a simple to use and foldable treadmill.
