Reebok fans that want to start using a treadmill but don’t have that much space in their homes may benefit from
the Reebok Fusion treadmill. The Fusion is one of the foldable treadmills offered by Reebok. It measures 147 x 90 x
175 cm (HWD) and weighs in at a hefty 68 kilograms.
If you order the Fusion, it will arrive in your home packed flat and in need of assembly. Putting
the whole treadmill together requires minimal effort. However, given its weight, you might want to do it exactly
where you want to place the treadmill. The Fusion comes with a large, bright and easy to read LCD console window.
This console shows you the speed you are going, how long have you been running, the distance you have covered and
the calories that you have burned.
Getting the Reebok Fusion up and running is a walk in the park. You have 9 available user settings to choose
from. You just enter your personal information and you are good to go. There is a quick start mode if you just wish
to do simple running. If you are into serious running, you can choose from 6 different pre-set programs. These
programs include incline interval, speed interval as well as a program for weight loss. The Reebok Fusion can go
from 0.8 km/h up to 16 km/h. While some may find that the 16 km/h a bit slow for their taste, it is more than
enough for the casual sprinters and joggers. If you are looking to increase the power of your legs, you can change
the incline of the treadmill. You can choose from 10 different levels of difficulty. The Fusion comes with a
“motion detection system” which detects hand movement on the side of the console to increase or decrease the speed.
This saves you time compared to doing it manually using the console.
The hand grip of the Reebok Fusion comes with the standard pulse sensor to give you your current heart rate.
However, it lacks real time heart rate sensor to provide a reading with respect to the distance and speed
travelled. The running deck of the Reebok Fusion measures in at 44 x 130 cm (WD) and can support up to 110kg of
weight. The size of the running surface is quite comfortable for normal running or jogging. On the other hand, the
Reebok Fusion doesn’t have its own MP3 or audio player. Nonetheless, if you are after a simple treadmill that can
be folded to save space, the Reebok Fusion deserves a second look.
