When the name Reebok is mentioned, the image of shoes and sports apparel of good quality immediately comes to mind. The name is quite familiar and is a well recognized brand when you are talking about the fitness industry. They have built a reputation of manufacturing and offering quality sporting goods. People wrongly think that Reebok treadmills are treadmills that are created and produced by Reebok themselves. They are not. They are designed and manufactured by Icon Health and Fitness. Icon Health and Fitness is the biggest manufacturer of fitness equipment. Reebok decided to team up with Icon Health and Fitness and in doing so, Reebok was able to stick their name on some of the quality machines in the market. This saved Reebok the expense needed to design and ultimately produce its own line of treadmills.

Because these treadmills carry the name of Reebok, the price can be slightly steep for some. The treadmill line of Reebok is priced somewhere in the vicinity of $1,000 to $2,000. They are priced for the features and the specifications of the said treadmill. However, when compared with other brands that come with an almost identical specification, you might find that the other brand is offered in a much lower cost. The Reebok Treadmills are created specifically for the home gym user – this means that they won’t really be up to par with treadmills made for commercial use. This means that if you see a commercial treadmill that has the Reebok trademark, you might want to inspect it a bit more closely, as Icon couldn’t have produced that treadmill. Most of the treadmills by Reebok come with a 2 to 2.5 horsepower motor for faster speeds and a long, wide treadmill belt that measures 20 x 60 inches.

While these treadmills are backed by one of the most well known name in fitness equipment, it is still common knowledge that Reebok is not an expert when it comes to treadmills by any stretch of the imagination. Given a choice between a company that specializes in manufacturing treadmills and Reebok, you might want to go with the former. Nonetheless, if you are an avid fan of Reebok and have the extra money to shell out, then you might want to check out the different Reebok treadmills available in the market.
